Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing

Salary: Up to -52,000 + Package

Are you an Assistant Site Manager looking to join a housebuilder with an excellent reputation for quality, staff retention and career progression?

We are currently recruiting for a leading UK housebuilder who are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager on a new traditional build housing development in Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established developer with a strong pipeline of work and a proven track record of promoting from within.

Working alongside the Site Manager, you will support the delivery of a 60-unit traditional build housing development, ensuring homes are built safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the development
• Supervising subcontractors and coordinating trades on site
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
• Monitoring build quality and carrying out inspections
• Assisting with build programmes and site progress
• Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics
• Carrying out snagging and quality control checks
• Supporting NHBC inspections and customer handovers

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing
• Experience working for a residential developer or housebuilder
• Good knowledge of construction processes and site coordination
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred

• Salary up to -52,000
