Assistant Site Manager Industrial New Build Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £35,000 £45,000 + Package Our client is an established main contractor specialising in industrial, logistics and commercial construction, with an expanding portfolio of new-build projects across the UK. They are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their project team on a major industrial new-build scheme in Hertfordshire. Working alongside the Site Manager and wider project team, you will play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of the project, with responsibility for subcontractor coordination, quality, health and safety and programme support. Key Responsibilities: Assisting the Site Manager with daily site operations Managing and coordinating subcontractors Monitoring progress against programme Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality Coordinating site logistics and sequencing Carrying out inspections and maintaining site records Attending meetings with subcontractors and the project team Supporting the delivery of the project from groundworks through to completion The Ideal Candidate: Previous Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor experience Experience with a main contractor Background in industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new builds Steel frame experience highly desirable Good understanding of construction processes and site management CSCS and relevant construction qualifications Strong communication and organisational ..... full job details .....
