Assistant Site Manager New-Build Education Project Location: Essex Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a £38m+ new-build education project in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major construction project delivering a purpose-built specialist school, providing modern educational and therapeutic facilities within a high-quality built environment. The Project The development comprises a new-build, part single-storey and part two-storey school, incorporating approximately 6,300m of internal floor space. The works include: Construction of a new specialist education facility. Traditional brickwork, rainscreen cladding and glazed façade elements. Specialist classrooms, therapy rooms, dining facilities and sports areas. Mechanical and electrical installations throughout. External works, landscaping, access roads, parking and outdoor sports facilities. The Role Assistant Site Manager Working alongside the senior site team, you will support the day-to-day delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with the management and coordination of subcontractors on site. Monitoring progress against the construction programme.
