Assistant Site Manager Location: Lancaster Type: Freelance Day Rate: Competitive day/hourly rates We are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our freelance residential housing team in Lancaster. This role requires a minimum of two years experience within the new build sector.The role will focus on finishing works, quality control, snagging, and supporting the smooth delivery of plots through to handover, while maintaining high standards of health and safety and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day site operations alongside the Site ManagerCoordinate finishing trades across multiple plotsManage snagging lists and ensure defects are closed out efficientlyCarry out quality inspections at key stages of buildSupport customer care processes, including plot handovers and demonstrationsLiaise with subcontractors to maintain programme and quality standardsAssist with health and safety compliance on siteEnsure all homes meet company and NHBC (or equivalent) standardsMaintain clear communication with site teams, customers, and subcontractorsRequirementsPrevious experience as an Assistant Site Manager in residential house buildingStrong understanding of finishing works, snagging, and quality controlExperience working on volume housing developmentsStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple plots and subcontractorsSMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First AidWhat''s on OfferCompetitive day/hourly rates Opportunity to work on ..... full job details .....
