Assistant Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a respected and well-established housebuilder in the Midlands, working on a large-scale new-build housing development in Gobowen.This is initially a short-term opportunity, with the potential for the right candidate to move into a long-term position.Experience within large-scale new-build housing developments is essential. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in private housebuilding and is confident working in a fast-paced, volume-build environment.The RoleWorking closely with the Site Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.You will be responsible for supporting the coordination of subcontractors and trades, monitoring progress, maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring work is completed in line with the company''s high-quality requirements.RequirementsEssential: Proven experience on large-scale new-build housing developmentsPrevious experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housingExperience with both traditional build and timber frame constructionSMSTS preferred, although SSSTS will be consideredValid CSCS cardValid First Aid qualificationStrong understanding of residential construction, health and safety and site proceduresExperience coordinating subcontractors and tradesGood knowledge of build programmes, quality control ..... full job details .....
