Assistant Site Manager

Position: Assistant Site ManagerSector: Residential Housebuilding / Timber Frame ConstructionWe are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy timber frame residential development in Manchester, with a start date expected within the next month.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential housebuilding, previous timber frame construction experience and the ability to support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy development.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on construction professional who can help maintain high standards of health and safety, build quality and programme delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations.Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities to ensure works progress in line with the programme.Monitor workmanship and ensure build quality meets required standards.Support the management and coordination of timber frame construction and subsequent build stages.Carry out regular site inspections and health and safety checks.Ensure site personnel and subcontractors comply with health and safety procedures.Assist with toolbox talks, site records, progress reports and construction documentation.Identify and report any issues affecting programme, quality or site safety.Help maintain a clean, organised and well-managed site.Work closely with the Site Manager, Contracts Manager and subcontractors to ensure the ..... full job details .....
