Assistant Site Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a respected and established housebuilder on a busy timber frame housing development in Congleton.

This is an ongoing opportunity for a strong Assistant Site Manager with a solid new build housing background, working closely with the Site Manager to support the day-to-day running of the development.

You will need to be confident with:

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades on site
• Monitoring progress against the build programme and ensuring works stay on schedule
• Carrying out regular site walks and quality checks
• Ensuring health & safety standards, RAMS and site procedures are followed
• Managing deliveries, materials and site logistics
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and other site teams
• Helping to maintain build quality and ensuring works are completed to the required standards
• Assisting with site paperwork, inspections and reporting
• Taking responsibility for the site and supporting the wider management team when required

• Previous Assistant Site Manager experience within housebuilding
• Timber frame experience is advantageous
• SMSTS - Essential
• CSCS - Essential
• First Aid - Essential
• Strong knowledge of site health & safety and construction procedures
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively within a busy site environment
