Assistant Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy residential housebuilding project in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established housebuilder on a long-term temporary contract, with approximately 18 months remaining on the project. The Role Working closely with the Site Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day management and delivery of a high-quality residential development. You will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assisting the Site Manager with the daily management of the construction site. Supervising subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations. Monitoring the quality of work and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the development. Managing and coordinating trades to ensure the build programme is maintained. Carrying out site inspections and reporting progress to the Site Manager. Assisting with the management of materials, deliveries and site logistics. Supporting the completion of plots through to handover. Helping to maintain a clean, organised and professional site environment. Ensuring all site paperwork and documentation is completed accurately.
