We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to assist with the internal finishing stages of a high-rise residential apartment scheme. This is an immediate requirement and will be for a minimum of 2-3 months.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist in managing the finishing and snagging phase on a block of apartments. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to step up or gain further experience on a major scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of all finishing trades
- Check snagging lists
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with programme schedules
- Assist with daily site operations, inductions, and health & safety enforcement
- Liaise with subcontractors and ensure site standards are upheld
- Report regularly to the senior site team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an assistant site management role on residential or high-rise builds
- Strong knowledge of internal fit-out stages
- CSCS card required; SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
- Proactive, reliable, and confident on-site
- Immediately available for a site-based role in Cardiff
