Job Description: Assistant Site EngineerPosition: Assistant Site EngineerLocation: BuckinghamSector: Civil Engineering / InfrastructureContract Type: Full-Time / PermanentRole SummaryWe are seeking a proactive Assistant Site Engineer to join our team on civil infrastructure projects in Buckingham. Working alongside senior engineers, you will handle day-to-day setting out, quality assurance, technical documentation, and site supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting Out and Surveying: Execute precise setting out, levelling, and as-built surveys using Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment.Technical and Quality Control: Interpret CAD drawings, enforce Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), conduct pre-pour checks, and manage RFIs.Site Operations: Maintain accurate daily site logs (labor, plant, progress) and assist in supervising subcontractors.Health and Safety: Enforce compliance with RAMS, Permits to Work, and site safety standards.RequirementsQualification: HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering.Experience: Practical site experience setting out on civil infrastructure projects.Technical Skills: Proficient with Total Stations/GPS and AutoCAD.Certifications: Valid CSCS Card and Full UK Driving License.How to ApplyIf you are an ambitious engineer ready to advance your career on major local infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you!Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
