Our client, a well-established and growing retail business based in Cheltenham, has an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Showroom Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent maternity cover contract due to maternity leave. The successful Assistant Showroom Manager should have:Previous retail management or supervisory experience within a fast-paced retail environmentA target-driven and sales-focused approach with the ability to maximise opportunitiesExcellent customer service and communication skillsExperience motivating and supporting a small retail teamStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage customer orders and showroom operations effectivelyIn this role, the Assistant Showroom Manager will be responsible for:Supporting the Showroom Manager in the day-to-day running of the showroom and deputising in their absenceDriving showroom sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience at all timesManaging customer orders, appointments, deliveries and payments accurately and efficientlyAssisting with staff rotas, team motivation, training and performance management for a team of 5-6 staffMaintaining showroom standards, stock control and ensuring company procedures are followed at all timesOur client is offering the successful Assistant Showroom Manager a salary in the region of £28,500 plus benefits including staff discounts, holiday allowance and the opportunity to work within a ..... full job details .....
