Assistant Service Advisor

We are currently recruiting for the position of-Assistant Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership located in Canterbury, Kent. This Part Time Assistant Service Advisor role is an excellent opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals seeking flexible working hours, with the potential to progress into a full-time position in the future.

Duties of the Assistant Service Advisor:

• Support the full-time Service Advisor with customer service and administrative duties
• Prepare vehicle job cards and ensure accurate documentation of repairs and services
• Answer customer calls and record their requirements efficiently
• Assist with job card administration, vehicle preparation, and appointment scheduling
• Contribute to administrative tasks such as warranty claims and upselling where appropriate
• Deliver excellent communication and customer service to dealership clients
• Support the team with general administrative activities to ensure smooth workshop operations

Requirements of the Assistant Service Advisor:

• Prior experience within the automotive trade or customer service environment is preferred
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
• Keen interest in the motor trade industry and customer care
• Ability to work well within a team and support the Service Advisor as required
• Motivated and eager to develop within the automotive sector
