The successful Assistant SENDCo will join a collaborative and dedicated Inclusion Team within a school that places significant emphasis on professional development.The school is looking to appoint an Assistant SENDCo on a permanent, full-time, term-time basis for 39 weeks per year. The Assistant SENDCo will support the leadership and management of SEND provision, assist with daily SEND and inclusion arrangements, undertake EHCP reviews and share responsibility for the line management of Teaching Support Assistants.The successful Assistant SENDCo will have: Relevant qualifications and knowledge appropriate to working within SEND provision, with QTS not essentialExperience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or DisabilitiesKnowledge and experience of EHCPs, including contributing to reviews and revisionsA strong understanding of current SEND policy and practiceThe ability to support and provide guidance ..... full job details .....
