Assistant SENCo - September 2026 (or later)

We are seeking an outstanding Assistant SENCo to join a thriving Manchester Secondary School.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the outcomes of young people and work alongside an experienced team of SEND professionals.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, a permanent contract from the start may be considered.

Assistant SENCo - requirements

Ideally you will be:
- Experienced in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Knowledgeable about SEND provision, with a clear understanding of inclusive teaching and learning strategies
- Experienced in SEND Admin - such as submitting applications and writing plans.
- Able to work effectively with staff, students, parents and external agencies.
- A positive role model, demonstrating patience, empathy and professionalism.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school.
- Keen to play a key role in identifying needs, coordinating interventions and supporting students who require additional help.

- Salary range - -3000036000 (For those with QTS - MPS-UPS + TLR will be considered)
- Start in September - later starts are an option for those with notice periods
