Soho Farmhouse

Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Soho Farmhouse is a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. Two hours'' drive or a short train from London, we have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. We have multiple food and beverage outlets on site, The Main Barn is the central hub, serving the club menu all day. The Role...

We are currently looking for an outstanding

Assistant Restaurant Manager

to oversee the smooth running of the restaurant operations whilst delivering exemplary service. You''ll be consistent, reliable and excited to be part of leading a first-class team and growing the business. You will have a real passion for what you do, with the ability to build relationships with members and guests alike. Having previous experience in a similar management role, you will understand how to deliver quality service, working at pace, with a positive and engaging personality.

As part of our Soho House team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.

Main Duties...Coordinating daily restaurant management operations along side the Restaurant ManagerDelivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing member satisfactionResponding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaintsCoordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operationsOrganize and supervise shiftsAppraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivityEstimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning productsEnsure compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsManage restaurant''s good image and suggest ways to improve itControl operational costs and identify measures to cut wasteCreate detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expensesRecommend ways to increase productivity and revenuesTrain new and current employees on proper member service practicesImplement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

What we are looking for...Proven work experience as a Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.Extensive food and beverage (FandB) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staffFamiliarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and MicroStrong attention to detailsExcellent customer serviceFluent in EnglishOrganised and reliableAbility to work and maximize relationships within a diverse teamComputer literacy within Opera, Micros and Adaco advantageous

Expected working hours for a Assistant Restaurant Manager:Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens and closesAverage hours 45 hours per week
