Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Belfast or London Job Type: Permanent Trainor Stone and Tile is a Belfast-founded specialist stone and tiling contractor delivering high-quality commercial projects across the UK. The company has worked on prestigious developments including Harrods, Selfridges, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and King''s Cross, alongside leading Tier 1 contractors. Due to continued growth, Trainor Stone and Tile is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. The Role Working closely with senior QS staff, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key Responsibilities Assist with measuring works, valuations and cost reporting Support subcontractor procurement, orders and payment applications Assist with monthly cost/value reconciliations Liaise with site teams regarding progress, variations and changes Support commercial reporting and cost control Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation Work closely with the wider project and commercial teams Requirements Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline Part-qualified or working towards RICS/CIOB accreditation 1-3 years'' experience in a QS support role, ideally within construction or fit-out Strong Excel skills Experience with cost management software would be an advantage Good communication and organisational skills ..... full job details .....
