Job Title: Trainee/Assistant Quantity SurveyorLocation: Wolverhampton (West Midlands)Sector: Construction - New Build ProjectsSalary: 30,000 - 40,000 + Package Role Overview:We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team, supporting the commercial delivery of new build construction projects across the West Midlands. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final accountSupport in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentsHelp manage subcontractor procurement, including enquiries, analysis, and order placementAssist with valuations, variations, and cost reportingMonitor project costs and help ensure projects are delivered within budgetSupport with contract administration and document controlLiaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliersRequirements:Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role or a relevant placement/year outDegree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldGood understanding of construction processes, ideally within new build projectsStrong numerical and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Good communication and organisational skillsDesirable:Experience working for a main contractorKnowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT)Full UK driving licenceWhat We Offer:Competitive ..... full job details .....
