They''re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and build a career in structural steel. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QS career to develop within a specialist environment, working alongside experienced commercial and estimating teams on live projects. What you''ll do Support the QS team with cost tracking, valuations and reporting across live projects Assist with measuring and pricing variations, and preparing applications for payment Help prepare subcontractor packages, including procurement, orders and valuations Track project costs against budget and flag variances Assist with the preparation of final accounts Liaise with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate cost information Support the wider commercial team with reporting and administrative duties as required What we''re looking for Some experience in a commercial, QS or estimating support role (construction or steel sector preferred, but not essential)...
