They''re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and build a career in structural steel.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QS career to develop within a specialist environment, working alongside experienced commercial and estimating teams on live projects.What you''ll doSupport the QS team with cost tracking, valuations and reporting across live projectsAssist with measuring and pricing variations, and preparing applications for paymentHelp prepare subcontractor packages, including procurement, orders and valuationsTrack project costs against budget and flag variancesAssist with the preparation of final accountsLiaise with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate cost informationSupport the wider commercial team with reporting and administrative duties as requiredWhat we''re looking forSome experience in a commercial, QS or estimating support role (construction or steel sector preferred, but not essential)Studying towards, or interested in studying towards, a QS-related qualification (degree, HNC/HND or equivalent)Strong numeracy and attention to detailGood communication skills, comfortable liaising with site and supplier contactsConfident with Excel and general IT systemsOrganised, proactive, and keen to learnWhat''s on offerCompetitive ..... full job details .....
