Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

Hygrove Partners are recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of the fastest-growing, most modern and exciting construction firms in the UK, working on new build and social housing projects across the West Midlands. The Role: Supporting or leading the commercial management of new build and social housing projects from pre-contract through to final account. The position is open to experienced Assistant QSs looking to step up as well as established Quantity Surveyors. Key Responsibilities: Preparing cost estimates, budgets, valuations and applications for payment Managing subcontractor orders, accounts, variations and final accounts Cost reporting and monitoring project spend against budget Liaising with housing association clients and developers on commercial matters Supporting procurement, tendering and contract administration What We''re Looking For: QS experience within new build residential, social housing or retrofit Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards (preferred) Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Valid CSCS card and own transport What''s on Offer: £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience Clear progression within a fast-expanding business ..... full job details .....
