Assistant Quantity Surveyor - PortsmouthLocation: PortsmouthProject: Healthcare ProjectDuration: Approx. 2 yearsSalary:Up to £42,000 + packagePace Recruitment are working with an established contractor who are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a £7m healthcare project in Portsmouth.Reporting to the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Director, you will support the commercial management of the project, including procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, cost control and commercial reporting.The Ideal CandidatePrevious experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or within a commercial construction roleDegree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline desirableUnderstanding of construction drawings, procurement and subcontract managementKnowledge of JCT contracts desirableStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsGood numerical, organisational and communication skillsAmbitious, proactive and keen to developAn excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to develop their career on a £7m healthcare project with approximately 2 years on site. ..... full job details .....
