Assistant Quantity SurveyorBasildon, Essex Permanent - Full Time Competitive (DOE) + Car/ Car Allowance and Flexible Benefits Summary: Freedom''s Network Services team are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to be based in Basildon, Essex. Reporting into the Commercial Manager and working within the Commercial Team, this role will support the business unit by assisting with the contractual and financial elements of projects undertaken within the Networks business. This includes electrical, OHL and civil works under a large long-term framework. In addition, the role will include all other activities to enable successful PandL, cash flow and working capital management. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Submission and management of quotations to the clientWork with the Operations Team for valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with both clients and suppliersSubmit and manage invoicing with assistance from the Commercial TeamAssist with forecasts and budgetsComplete project reviews with the Operations TeamManage overdue applications and debtAttend Client progress meetings Follow procedures for Client work approvalEffective communication with all levels of personnel Supply chain managementProvide innovative ideas and continuous improvement Does this sound like a role you have envisaged yourself in?
