Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading Mechanical and Electrical services contractor, is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multi-million-pound construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Quantity Surveying within the MandE sector, working alongside experienced Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors. The Role You''ll support the commercial team with: Cost management, valuations and variations Tender submissions and subcontractor engagement Contract administration and procurement Monthly valuations and financial reporting Subcontractor payments and project cost records Commercial documentation and budget control About You We''re looking for someone who has: Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Good communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment Desirable: A Quantity Surveying qualification (or currently studying towards one) Construction or MandE industry knowledge Previous construction or administration experience What''s on Offer?
