Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Linear Recruitment are working alongside new build housing developer who are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Nottingham This role is perfect for someone either working for another housebuilder and wanting progression. OR Someone currently working within Construction/ Civils and wanting a stable office Day to Day: • Control all expenditure • Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts • On-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliers • Ensuring value for money and financial assessments • Manage day to day cost control and monitoring and reporting • Process Sub contractor requests for payment via application and invoice • Attend project and company related meetings • Ensure timely cash flow management • Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients and customers About You • Degree or other technical qualification • Quantity Surveying experience with a house builder • Strong commercial awareness • Proven track record delivering contracts on time and within budget • Coins experience • Negotiating, communication and presentation skills • Knowledge of Supply Chain management • RICS / CIOB qualification - Preferred Package • Annual Performance Bonus • Private Medical • Car Allowance/ Company Car • Company Pension If you want to know more and wish to apply, please contact ..... full job details .....
