Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We''re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Shropshire Term Service Contract team in Shrewsbury, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure services for Shropshire Council. What will you be responsible for? As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be supporting the Shropshire commercial team in delivering a diverse range of projects, from capital maintenance schemes to emergency response activities. Your day to day will include: Assisting with pricing capital maintenance schemes including surfacing, drainage and structural repairs Supporting cost management for winter maintenance, emergency response and street scene activities Assessing valuations, calculating payments and monitoring subcontractor performance Contributing to monthly Cost Value Reports and identifying opportunities for improvement Collaborating with the commercial team on various duties as required What are we looking for?
