The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the Commercial Team by managing the financial and contractual aspects of various projects. Collaborating closely with the Business Development, Methods, and Cost Control teams, the Assistant QS will ensure rigorous cost management and contractual compliance throughout each project’s lifecycle.Main Responsibilities

Assist in formulating tender strategiesDevelop cost planning and project budgeting, including tender analysis, bidding, valuation of variations, cost estimation, subletting, extension of time claims, cash flow monitoring, certifying payment and variations, and final account settlementResponsible for interim payment applications, certifying sub-contractor payment valuation, and final account settlementsProvide contractual advice to Project Managers and EngineersAssist in resolving disputes between contracting partiesConduct quantity take-offsMaintain awareness of different building contracts conditions currently useCandidate profile

Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (building, construction, civil or structural engineering)A successful first experience in quantity surveying (approximately 1 to 3 years)Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is requiredCandidates must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of applicationInterested ?
