Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing (Planned and Cyclical Works) Location: Peterborough Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time PermanentAbout the Role: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment and maintenance. Based in Peterborough, you will be supporting the commercial team on a portfolio of planned and cyclical maintenance works, working with local authorities and housing associations.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS with some industry experience looking to further their career within a highly supportive and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the commercial delivery of planned and cyclical works within the social housing sectorSupport in preparing, submitting, and managing interim valuations and final accountsAssist with cost control, subcontractor payments, and financial reportingConduct site visits to measure and assess progress, variations, and completed worksHelp ensure projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contract requirementsLiaise with operational teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to support successful project deliveryAssist in preparing tender documents and procurement processes as neededRequirements:1-3 years'' experience in a similar role, ideally within social housing, repairs, or planned ..... full job details .....
