Assistant Quantity Surveyor

An employee focused construction firm are now looking for ambitious and determined Assistant Quantity Surveyors, to join their Infrastructure and Aviation team at London Heathrow.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyors will be supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors, with all contractual duties, within multiple sectors.

Exposure to different forms of contract and size of schemes will be available.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects
• Support with drawings and specifications to calculate quantities
• Support in preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
• Monitor project costs and track any changes

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will gain exposure across the Infrastructure, Aviation and Property sectors, with new builds and refurbishments taking place.

You will be supported by the Commercial Director of this team, and will be given the opportunity to learn immediately.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• 12+ months working for a Construction organisation
• Some exposure in pre & post contract would be beneficial
• Comfortable in front of clients
• Enthusiasm to maintain and win relationships
• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management

In return for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• £40,000 - £50,000
• Company bonus (10-15%)
• 25 days annual leave
• 5% pension contribution
• Memberships paid for
• Travel paid for
