Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Salary £35,000 to £40,000

Our client, established 20 years ago, has evolved into a leading structural alterations specialist operating across London and the South East. The contractor successfully delivers projects that include groundworks, drainage, RC works, blockwork, steelwork, temporary works, diamond drilling, demolition, and strip-outs.

They are keen to secure the services of a talented Quantity Surveyor to undertake commercial duties covering the full range of responsibilities, from procurement through to final accounts. The successful Quantity Surveyor will have a strong background and be competent in managing the day-to-day commercial issues of an ongoing site.

Other prerequisites include:

  • Ideally, experience within the London construction market
  • Quantity Surveyor needs to have at least 2 years QSing experience
  • Experience with a sub contractor
  • A formal Quantity Surveying qualification
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commercial and technical competence
  • Living within commuting distance of Central London

The contractor is looking to double their turnover over the next three years. This will create clear opportunities within the Quantity Surveying team, not only to progress your career but also to develop new skills while working in a positive and supportive environment.
