Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor (New Build Residential)
Location: East London
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career Our client, a well-established Main Contractor specialising in the New Build Residential sector, is seeking a driven individual to join their commercial team.

You’ll initially be working on a New Build Care Home development in East London, which has approximately seven months left to run. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on project experience and play a key role in the successful delivery of the scheme.

The Role:

• Assisting the project Quantity Surveyor with day-to-day commercial duties

• Preparing and monitoring cost reports, valuations, and variations

• Assisting in subcontractor management including procurement, payments, and final accounts

• Supporting the commercial team in ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to a high standard

About You:

• Previous experience as an Assistant QS, ideally within the residential or care home sectors
