Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Constructive Moves are looking to secure an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a privately owned house builder based in Hertfordshire. This opportunity will offer the chance to work on residential housing schemes across the Northern Home Counties region. You will join the commercial department and work closely with a Senior Surveyor but also help to support the wider project team on the commercial delivery of residential developments from procurement through to final account. The role will offer the exposure to a broad range of commercial activities, including subcontractor procurement, cost management, valuations, forecasting, contract administration with a focus on procurement, payments and day to day running of a project. It would be beneficial if you have worked with the construction industry and have a good understanding of financial management. Experience with Coins is desirable but the ability to use Microsoft packages, MS excel and spreadsheets is mandatory.This is a permanent full-time position will be based at their regional office in Hertfordshire.
