Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an industry leading main contractor on an exciting and confidential and groundbreaking 10m project in the automotive sector. Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for the project. Work collaboratively with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure the accurate preparation of valuations, cost reports, and final accounts. Conduct site visits to track progress and assess project cost implications. Support the procurement process, including preparing tender documentation and assessing bids. Measure and value work completed on-site to inform interim payment applications and variations. Assist in managing risks and opportunities related to project costs. Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations while maintaining confidentiality under the NDA. Maintain accurate project records and comprehensive cost documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with prior exposure to projects in the automotive or construction sectors considered an advantage.
