Quantity Surveyor Small Works Location: Devizes, Wiltshire Salary: £40,000 £45,000 + Package Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Alpinefox Recruitment is working with an established Wiltshire-based contractor looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support its growing workload across social housing, repairs, maintenance and small works. This isn''t a major-project QS position. We''re looking for somebody who understands the commercial realities of responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance and smaller-value works and, crucially, has experience working with the NHF Schedule of Rates. You could already be working as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS, or perhaps in an estimating/commercial role within social housing. What''s most important is your knowledge of the sector and your ability to price and commercially manage works accurately. The Role Working closely with the wider operational and commercial team, you''ll be involved across the lifecycle of housing maintenance and small works, including: Pricing works using the NHF Schedule of Rates Preparing estimates and quotations Reviewing specifications and scopes of work Managing variations and additional works Valuations and applications for payment Monitoring project costs and commercial performance Working with subcontractors, suppliers and operational teams Supporting the commercial delivery of responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance and small works Ensuring works provide value while remaining commercially ..... full job details .....
