Assistant Quantity Surveyor - DryliningCentral London Projects 35,000- 45,000 + PackageAn established drylining and interiors contractor is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting the delivery of multiple high-quality packages across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven QS looking to take the next step in their career and gain hands-on, site-based experience on fast-paced construction projects.The RoleAs an Assistant QS, you will work closely with the Project QS and Commercial Manager, assisting with the commercial management of drylining, SFS, ceilings, and partitioning packages. You will be based on site and play a key role in cost control, valuations, procurement, and subcontractor management.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the measurement, take-offs, and preparation of BOQsSupport the preparation of monthly valuations and applications for paymentTrack project costs, variations, and change controlSupport procurement of materials and subcontractorsReview and analyse subcontractor quotationsAssist with drafting contracts and ordersMaintain accurate commercial records and project documentationLiaise with site teams to ensure financial and contractual requirements are metAttend site meetings and support commercial reportingProvide general commercial support to senior QS staffAbout You1-3 years'' experience within drylining, interiors, or general subcontracting QS rolesStrong understanding of ..... full job details .....
