Assistant Purchase Ledger Southwark, London Up to £28,000 + Benefits A well-established £50m+ turnover construction contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Purchase Ledger to join its friendly and supportive finance team at its modern Southwark office. Key Responsibilities Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately. Matching, batching and coding invoices. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries. Assisting with payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts. Liaising with site teams and subcontractors regarding invoice approvals. Supporting month-end finance processes. Maintaining accurate records within Sage. Providing general administrative support to the finance department. Requirements Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential. Experience using Sage accounting software. An Accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent) is desirable. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
