Assistant Psychologist - Maternity Cover FTC 6 Months Location: The Oakleaf Group, Northampton Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £26,481 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Multi-professional therapy team, at the Oakleaf Group, on a fixed-term contract. You would be part of a dynamic and supportive team that includes Physiotherapy, Speech and Language therapy, Psychology and Nursing. The successful applicant should have a desire to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. The role would suit an Assistant Psychologist, who has a Degree in Psychology, at least 2:1 or above, along with experience in healthcare, ideally brain injury, and would like to develop their clinical skills further in this specialist field. Assistant Psychologists directly support the Registered Qualified Psychologist and are embedded within the interdisciplinary teams. Key functions include (but are not limited to): contributing to psychological assessment and psychological interventions under supervision of a registered psychologist; undertaking clinically relevant audits; collecting, analysing and reporting on a range of statistics; collaborating on agreed research projects; and devising and undertaking teaching and training of staff.
