About the Company

Our client is an established Groundworks, Civil Engineering and RC Frame contractor delivering major construction packages across the UK. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a live battery factory development in Doncaster.

About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, supporting the day-to-day delivery of Groundworks, Drainage, Precast Installations and FRC Works.

This is a site-based position where you will help coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, plant and site activities, while ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

About the Requirements

• Experience working in an Assistant Project Manager, Site Manager, Senior Engineer or similar position within Groundworks, Civil Engineering or RC Frame
• Good understanding of groundworks, drainage and external works
• Exposure to precast installation and FRC works would be beneficial
• Ability to read drawings, monitor progress and assist with short-term programme planning
• Confident coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Experience on large-scale industrial, manufacturing or logistics projects would be advantageous
