Assistant Project Manager

Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering design projects within the water sector. This permanent role is suited to someone with experience in engineering design, design coordination or project management who is ready to develop towards a Project Manager position. Based in Manchester, the role will involve working closely with senior engineers, project managers, clients and supply chain partners to deliver projects from concept through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Supporting the management and delivery of multidisciplinary water design projectsHelping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standardsCoordinating design teams, engineering disciplines and supply chain partnersUpdating and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress and reporting performanceSupporting the administration of NEC and other contract requirementsAssisting with commercial tracking, variations and change managementMaintaining effective communication with clients, internal stakeholders and project teamsSupporting the preparation of tenders, technical proposals and project documentation Job Requirements:Experience in engineering design, design coordination or design-focused project management within a regulated industryRelevant design project experience is essentialDegree or HND in engineering or a related disciplineStrong organisational, communication and stakeholder management ..... full job details .....
