Assistant Project Manager

A growing project and cost consultancy based in Manchester is looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to support its expanding project delivery team. This Assistant Project Manager position offers excellent exposure to commercial, residential and mixed-use developments across the North West.

The successful construction Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior colleagues. This Assistant Project Manager role will involve supporting project delivery across multiple sectors while gaining valuable client-side experience. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Assistant Project Manager will support senior staff in delivering projects from early feasibility through to completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with project planning and programme management

• Coordinating consultants and contractors

• Preparing project reports and documentation

• Supporting procurement and tender processes

• Monitoring project progress and risks

The ''Assistant Project Manager''

The ideal Assistant Project Manager will be ambitious and keen to progress within a consultancy environment.

Requirements:

• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar

• Working towards APM, MRICS or equivalent

• Previous consultancy experience assisting project delivery

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role
