Assistant Project Manager - Civils Construction

Assistant Project Manager required to work on a multi-billion construction project in Essex.If you have experience of working on the delivery stages of complex civil engineering/construction projects within a highly regulated industry, this would be a greta role for you!Key Responsibilities:Supporting the Project Manager with the delivery of complex civils construction projectsCo-ordinating project activities across design, construction and delivery phasesMonitoring progress, programme milestones, risks, issues and project dependenciesSupporting the management of contractors, consultants and project stakeholdersAssisting with project reporting, documentation, governance and change controlEnsuring construction activities are delivered in line with quality, health and safety and regulatory requirementsContributing to effective communication across multidisciplinary project teamsJob Requirements:Experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmesPractical experience of working through construction stages of major projectsUnderstanding of project controls, risk management, progress reporting and change managementExperience gained within a highly regulated industry, such as airports, rail, nuclear or waterStrong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with contractors, consultants and internal teamsGood understanding of construction processes, governance and compliance ..... full job details .....
