Assistant Programme Manager 60,714- 71,-month FTC maternity cover Home based with some travel North and Midlands Sellick Partnership has been exclusively retained to recruit an experienced Assistant Programme Manager for a high-profile national public-sector programme focused on housing, regeneration, public assets and place-based delivery.This is an excellent opportunity to work across local and central government, supporting councils, combined authorities and other public-sector partners to progress ambitious programmes and projects.This isn''t a traditional programme management role. It combines programme delivery with stakeholder engagement, relationship management, political awareness and the ability to influence and challenge effectively. The roleWorking as part of the North and Midlands regional team, you will work alongside senior programme colleagues to help manage the delivery of a regional portfolio, while taking ownership of relationships, projects and programme activity.Key responsibilities will include:Developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders across local authorities, combined authorities and central government.Supporting and challenging partners to progress existing projects and identify new opportunities.Helping identify barriers to delivery, manage risks and find practical ways to move projects forward.Monitoring project and programme performance and escalating issues where required.Supporting the development and administration of funding ..... full job details .....
