Assistant Production Manager

A leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join their expanding 24/7 production facility.This is currently a Monday - Friday days based role, however flexibility in future will be needed to support the wider production teams. Supporting the Factory Manager and wider operational leadership team; the Assistant Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations from intake through to dispatch; ensuring the teams hit KPIs, supporting Production Supervisors in the training and development of their teams and supporting the CI and HSE Managers in the role out of new projects and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Team Manager / Leader to take their next step in their manufacturing career, full support and training will be provided to develop the successful applicant to progress their career. Candidates will have sound knowledge of production processes, operations and continuous improvement developed within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
