About the Assistant Production Manager role You ll be responsible for leading the nightshift operation across five production lines, overseeing a team of around 60 staff including Line Leaders, Packers, FLT Drivers, and Production and Warehouse Operatives. Reporting into the Dayshift Production Manager, you ll ensure the production plan is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Key tasks Manage the full nightshift production operation. Lead and support Line Leaders and wider production teams. Ensure production lines run efficiently without compromising quality. Oversee training, performance, and discipline of night staff. Liaise with Quality, Load Control, and Dispatch teams. Monitor product quality, crate counts, and post-production activities. Prepare daily paperwork and support continuous improvement. Carry out weekly production meetings with Line Leaders. About you Minimum 4 years experience in food manufacturing. 1 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Hands-on, organised, and methodical.
