Assistant Product Technologist - food manufacturing

About the Assistant Product Technologist role Reporting to the Senior Product Technologist, you ll be joining an energetic, innovative, friendly food product development team which has some exciting projects underway. The role is responsible for ensuring that products are designed, developed, and manufactured to meet technical, quality, and regulatory standards. Key tasks Product set up and data input into the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Maintain line sheets against the Retail Production Plan. Carry out daily visits to the factory and ensure finished products meet required standards. Observe new production runs and take necessary actions if needed. Take part in product quality assessments to include finished products and raw materials. Support the entire development process, from launch to finished product stage, including troubleshooting product/process challenges during product development and post-launch. About you The successful candidate should have at least two years experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry and ideally be degree-educated in a relevant subject.
