Assistant Principal

Oasis Academy Pinewood is seeking an exceptional, classroom-based, Assistant Principal to co lead our curriculum, drive high-quality teaching and learning, and champion the Oasis ethos and 9 Habits across our vibrant academy community. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in leading either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (aligned to your specialism), implementing the OCL pedagogy strategy in a way that works for Pinewood, developing staff, and ensuring that all children achieve their very best - academically, socially, and emotionally. What we''re looking for We are seeking an ambitious, values driven leader who can: Strategic leadership: contribute to whole school strategy and the academy development plan; lead priority strands (e.g., Teaching and Learning, Curriculum, Inclusion or Outcomes). Phase leadership of either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (aligned to your specialism) ensuring high expectations, excellent teaching and strong pupil outcomes. Standards and assessment: use data intelligently to raise attainment and close gaps. Drive improvement through instructional coaching, effective use of data and impactful pedagogical practice. Develop and mentor teachers, including leading CPD, coaching, appraisal and supporting ECTs/trainees. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including parents, the community, Trust leaders and partner schools. Deputise for the Principal/Deputy Principal when required.
