Within South Sector the AHP teams work together supporting each other to ensure we produce high quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities

Work as part of an established team to support physiotherapy and occupational therapy staff in delivering a high quality service to patients.

Carry an own patient caseload and treat patients while following protocol led guidelines.

Work mainly in a ward/gym environment, with flexibility according to service and patient group.

Engage with and motivate others; demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; show commitment to health care and teamwork.

Follow supervision and participate in personal development planning to support continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Band 3 or above level experience as a therapy support worker or equivalent.

Interest in Vascular/Amputee Rehabilitation;

Ability to work flexibly, with a strong team work ethic and good communication skills.

Additional Information

This post is a 37 hour post and will follow a 5/7 working pattern.

Training will be provided to undertake clinical and non-clinical duties; you will be fully supported by physiotherapy and occupational therapy staff.
