Our barristers specialise in providing their legal services across the areas of commercial, construction, insolvency, international law, property and personal injury.An opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time Assistant Practice Manager to join our Practice Management team. The candidate will play a vital support role to members of chambers and the practice managers.The Role
Daily duties will be (but are not limited to):Assisting with all fixing enquiries for High Court, tribunals and county court mattersChasing case papers for hearings in good timeLiaising with other chambers to exchange skeleton argumentsAllocation of court hearings for more junior members and bulk bookings from clientsTaking bookings via telephone and adding to the Lex diaryResponding to enquiries received in the practice managers email inboxEnsure that correspondence and briefs received are logged on to the Lex databasePrinting documents for members of chambersAssisting members with setting up remote hearings/conferencessupporting the more senior members of the practice management teamThe Candidate
