Assistant MerchandiserLocation: ChelmsfordContract: PermanentHours: Monday to FridayWe are recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a successful and growing business based in Chelmsford.This is a varied role combining ecommerce product set up, stock management, supplier communication and general merchandising administration. It would suit someone who is highly organised, confident using Excel and comfortable working with large amounts of product information and data.The RoleApproximately 50% of the position will focus on product set up and ecommerce administration, including:Setting up new products within Shopify ready to go live on the company websiteCreating and uploading product titles and descriptionsAdding different product sizes, options and variationsEnsuring pricing and other product information is entered accuratelyUsing Excel to prepare and import product data into ShopifyChecking product information carefully before products go liveMaintaining and updating existing product informationWorking accurately across a high volume of product dataThe remaining 50% will focus on stock, purchasing and general merchandising support, including:Monitoring and managing stock levelsPlacing orders with suppliersCommunicating with suppliers regarding orders, stock and availabilityMonitoring incoming deliveriesChasing suppliers and keeping track of expected delivery datesMaintaining accurate stock and order informationSupporting the wider team with merchandising and ..... full job details .....
