Assistant Manager

The Plate at No.6 restaurant offers modern Mediterranean Tapas cuisine in the heart of Windsor, Berkshire. We are seeking either an Assistant Manager or Head Waiter to provide our customers with a fine dining experience they will want to come back for.Given its location the restaurant has a broad customer base whether they are tourists or our cherished local clientele and we would expect our Assistant Manager or Head Waiter to show the quality friendly professional service that our customers would expect in such a prestigious location.There should be effective and efficient communication with the kitchen team which focuses on the team work ethos that we expect from all our employees.The role will also include overseeing the restaurant''s bar service and therefore knowledge in this field would be advantageous.The Assistant Manager/Head Waiter would have many duties and depending on the role would include the following:Assisting the Restaurant Manager in meeting key growth revenue targets and developing ideas to meet these targets.Assisting with the day to day management of the front of house operations including deputising on shifts for the Restaurant Manager, and managing rotas when applicable.Mentoring junior staff and developing their skillsets through on the job training.Stock management and product ordering.Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness at all times.If you believe you have the skills base to carry out these tasks and to develop yourself further please do submit your ..... full job details .....
