This is a dynamic role that combines hands-on management with team support. You will need both manual dexterity and strong interpersonal skills.Responsibilities
Hands-on processing and presentation: sorting, lifting, carrying, and pricing donated items (clothing, books, homeware); creating visually appealing window and in-store displays.Exceptional customer engagement: provide a warm and welcoming shopping experience and build positive relationships.Maintaining shop standards: keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and well-organised, including light physical tasks.Stock management with physical involvement: manage stock levels, receiving, moving, and organising donations in storage areas.Volunteer support and guidance: recruit, train, and support volunteers to foster a positive team environment.Financial transactions and security: handle transactions accurately and ensure shop security.About You / Requirements
Strong teamwork and clear communication to collaborate with the Shop Manager, colleagues, and volunteers.Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks and using initiative.Ability to handle the physical aspects of the role, including lifting, moving stock, arranging displays, and general shop maintenance.A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a positive shopping experience.Benefits
